2017 District Energy Systems Roundtable
Once again, Future Cities Laboratory and ETH Energy Science Center host the District Energy Systems Roundtable – June 28, CREATE Tower Singapore
Last year, the 2016 Roundtable on Future District Energy Systems brought a high profile group of representatives from top universities, government agencies, and practitioners from Singapore, China, Switzerland and U.S.A to discuss the subject of future district cooling systems in the tropics. The roundtable uncovered key challenges at the level of technology for future district energy systems and land-use.
This year, the 2017 Roundtable of Future District Energy Systems aims at uncovering economic and political challenges to integrate district energy systems and renewable energy in districts. Topics include:
- Zero energy districts
- Incentives for the energy transition at the district scale.
- Integration of low-carbon technology into urban design and planning.
